Practice with three public tasks

Choose a procurement-record comparison, a media time-and-region check, or a data-version comparison. Each task states its expected result and when to stop.

Compare procurement records

Compare identifiers, amounts and dates across two public records. The task shows fields and a possible relationship; it does not establish misconduct.

  • First, check what the source supports and which passage the link points to.
  • Goal: check whether key fields agree across the records.
  • If there is no answer or not enough material, record what is missing; that is also a result.
  • Stop if there is no primary record or time-versioned copy.

Check media time and region

Compare publication time, material time and a top-level region. The result provides a bounded timeline and schematic map, not an exact location.

  • Goal: check whether the times and broad region agree.
  • Stop if timezone, rights or region level cannot be compared.
  • Keep the conclusion within the precision supported by the time and geographic data.

Compare public-data versions

Compare two JSON, CSV or text snapshots and record the observed change. The service shows the difference but does not infer its cause.

  • Goal: identify what changed between the versions.
  • Stop if schema, period or data completeness cannot be compared.
  • Choose a next step for your role: editorial review, fact-checking or research.
